Meeks Schneider. He attended area schools.
Don worked as a meatpacker for Kretschmar Meats and also did
carpentry work for many years.
Don liked to do all types of woodworking.
Survivors include his son Randy Schneider and wife Christian of Arma;
mother Mary Schneider of Pittsburg; brothers Michael and Jim Schneider
both of Pittsburg; sisters Teresa Mahan of Pittsburg, Leanna Anthony of
Ft. Worth, TX and Mary Pintar and husband Greg of Lenexa, KS; four
grandchildren Logan, William, Lane and Douglas along with numerous
nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Monday, February 8, 2010 at Friskel
Funeral Home, 230 E. McKay St, Frontenac, KS with Rev. Jim Sukraw
officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackjack Cemetery in rural Nashville,
MO. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until service time on
Monday at the funeral home. Friends may call the funeral home after
1:30pm on Monday. The family suggests expressions of sympathy be in
the form of memorials to help defray final expenses. Memorials may be
left at or mailed to Friskel Funeral Home, 230 E. McKay St., Frontenac,
