Charley Quenoy, 86 of Frontenac died at 5:44 a.m. Sunday March 18,
2012 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.

He was born July 27, 1925 in Arma, KS the son of Bartholomew and
Louise (Vanducker) Quenoy.

Charley was a 1943 graduate of Arma High School and then received his
Teaching Degree in 1952 from Kansas State Teachers College.

He married Maxine Temperelli on May 25, 1952 in Girard, KS; she
preceded him in death on April 19, 2005.

Charley was a school teacher for 35 years.

He was a member of the Frontenac United Methodist Church, a 65 plus
year member of the Frontenac American Legion, the Frontenac Rotary
Club where he was the recipient of the Paul Harris Award.  He helped
start and organize the Frontenac Homecoming and was a 20 plus
member of the Frontenac City Council.

Survivors include a daughter Diann Hollick of Bakersfield, CA; a sister
Leona Marasani of Arma.  He was preceded in death by his parents and
wife Maxine.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday March 24, 2012 at the Friskel
Funeral Home in Frontenac.  Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories
where the Frontenac American Legion will provide flag folding and
presentation ceremonies.  The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home where friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday.
