Wilma Mossom, formerly of Frontenac, KS died in Fort Worth, TX on
December 28, 2009.
She was born in Washington Township in Crawford County Kansas.
She worked for Mount Carmel in food services until she retired in
1974.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Josie Mossom;
brothers Joe, Paul and her twin Wayne Mossom; sisters Pauline Mossom,
Marvell Opitz. She is survived by her nieces Marvell Noscroy (whom she
resided with), Kathryn Mossom; Great nieces Anette Moss, Laurie
Larsen; Great nephew M. Gene Moss Jr.; Great-great nephews Marion
Gene Moss III, Spencer & Blake Adams, Tori Moss-Desormier; Great
niece Riley Moss-Desormier and Great-great-great niece Anna Marie
Moss.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday December 31, 2009 at the
Friskel Funeral Home 230 E. McKay Frontenac, KS. Burial will follow in
the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1
p.m. until service time on Thursday. Friends may contact the family at
the home of family friend Dennis Blazic at 420 W. Spruce in Cherokee,
