Obituaries
Shelby W. McLeod, 31 of Frontenac died at 11 a.m. Sunday January 10,
2010 at his home in Frontenac.

     He was born January 4, 1979 in Dallas, TX the son of Jerry and Doris
(Glasscock) McLeod.  He has lived in the Frontenac area for the past
seven years moving here from Texas.  He attended schools in Tyler, TX,
and was currently attending classes at Fort Scott Community College.

     Shelby married Jamie Sloan (Still) on August 30, 2003 in Eureka
Springs, AR; she survives at the home.

     He was an electrician; and was a former member of the Victory Life
Church.

     Survivors include his wife Jamie of the home; 4 children-Cora Still,
Alex McLeod, Hayden Still and Ashtyn McLeod all of the home; his
mother Doris McLeod of Texas; a brother Richard McLeod of Ft. Smith,
AR; 2 sisters Patsy McLeod of Alba, TX, Christina Johnson of Ft. Riley,
KS; his maternal grandmother Lola Glasscock of Lindale, TX and 11
nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, a brother
Jerry McLeod and his maternal grandfather Walter Glasscock.

     Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday January 15, at the Friskel
Funeral Home in Frontenac with Pastor Don Talent officiating.  The family
will receive friends prior to the funeral beginning at noon. Condolences

contributions be made to a Scholarship Fund set up for Shelby and Jamie’
