Sharon S. Jones, 71 of Frontenac died at 5:07 a.m. Wednesday March
31, 2010 at the Via Christi Hospital Pittsburg.
She was born September 5, 1938 in Ottawa, KS the daughter of
Charley Adam and Minnie Marie (Sinclair) Nenno. She lived in the
Frontenac/Pittsburg area her entire life. She was a graduate of
Frontenac High School.
Sharon worked as a cook for 28 years at Barney’s Drive Inn in
Pittsburg and most recently she worked the past 13 years at Taco Bell.
She was baptized into the Methodist Faith.
Survivors include 2 sons-Charlie Jones of Frontenac, Jay William
Jones of Webb City, MO; a brother Gene Nenno of Oklahoma City, OK; 2
sisters Charlene Smith of Frontenac and Bonnie Shepherd of Colorado;
2 Grandsons Jeremiah drift Skidmore Jones and Jacob talon Swope
Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Wanda
(Nenno) Cook
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday April 5, 2010 at the Friskel
Funeral Home in Frontenac. Burial will follow in the Frontenac City
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on
Monday. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Monday.
