Ann T. Grilz, 87 of Frontenac died Friday August 7, 2009 at the Mount
Louis E. and Catherine (Galliti) Baima. She lived in Frontenac her entire
life, attended Frontenac Schools and was a 1941 graduate of Frontenac
High School.
Ann married Benjamin (Ben) Franklyn Grilz on April 5, 1947 in Girard,
KS; he preceded her in death on December 11, 2008.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Frontenac
American Legion Auxiliary Post #43.
Survivors include a daughter Linda Grilz of Frontenac; a son Michael
Grilz and wife Mary Lou of Plano, TX; 2 grandchildren Ryan and Ashley
Grilz both of Plano, TX. Ann also loved her new home-Oakview Estates
and considered the staff and residents her new family. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son Jeffrey Grilz.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday August 12th at the
Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac with Reverend Dennis Paschke
officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The
family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in
Frontenac where friends may call after 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Condolences
