FRONTENAC — .John R. Faucett, 72 of Frontenac, KS died at 2:43 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at the Freeman Hospital.
He was born July 19, 1937 in rural Pittsburg the son of Otto W. and Alma
V. (Seely) Faucett.
On May 4, 1979 he was united in marriage to Susan Vesci in Miami, OK;
she survives him of the home.
John was a self-employed mechanic for many years; he also was the
owner and operator of Eastside Tours and Eastside Automotive.
He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Pittsburg Shriners.
Additional survivors include 3 sons Michael and wife Mona Faucett of
Pittsburg, Steven Faucett and Janet of Weir and Rick and wife Tracy
Faucett of Frontenac; two sisters: Patsy Faucett and Debra Faucett both
of Frontenac, one brother Everett Eugene Faucett of Milford Center, OH;
five grandsons and 4 granddaughters, four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be 10 am, Monday, October 12, 2009 at the Friskel
Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Sukraw officiating. Burial will follow in the
Frontenac City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home
from 7-8 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at the funeral home after 1
p.m. Sunday. Condolences may be left at www.friskelfuneralhome.com.
Memorials may be made to help with final expenses or the American
Heart Association. These may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
