Marilyn S. Cox 74, of Mindenmines , MO died 4:45pm Wednesday August
17, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Pittsburg , KS following an illness.
Marilyn was born March 18, 1937 in Pittsburg , KS the daughter of
George Radell and Lola E. ( Greenwood ) Radell. She was a lifelong
resident of the area and attended area schools. On October 3, 1954
Marilyn married Henry F. Cox in North Carolina ; he preceded her in
death on September 27, 2002 .
Graveside Memorial Services will be 1:30pm Wednesday August 24,
2011 at the Fort Scott National Cemetery in Ft. Scott , KS . Family and
friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services. In lieu of flowers
the family ask expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the
American Cancer Society. E-mail condolences may be left at www.
